Environmental Art Lamps

Each Lamp is an original art piece which has been created to soothe, inspire and uplift.
They are designed and made by hand in beautiful Byron Bay.
The design is based on the plant motif of an ancient cycad "zamia furfurae", which has existed on the earth for thousands of years. The vibrational frequency of the plant motif is released when the light is turned on. These unique lamps create a soothing ambience in any room as they bring the beauty, harmony and balance of the plant kingdom into your home or office.

Light plays an essential role in our ability to perceive the world around us. Lighting can affect performance, mood, morale, safety and decisions. Art Lamps are ideal for ambient light in a room and can make a huge difference to the atmosphere when the television set is turned on. Art Lamps are ideal to leave on when you are going out for the evening and you will find them welcoming when you return home.

Art Lamps are manufactured from perspex, hand printed 100% Cotton fabric with timber feet.
They can be used as table or floor lamps and measure 30cm x 15cm and stand 45cm tall.
Art Lamps come complete with a standard white lamp cord with switch and a bayonet light fitting.
Because the environment is important to us you will also find a compact fluorescent bulb included.
The mini compact fluorescent bulb is 11w = 60 watts, is 'natural white' and has a life span equal to
6 standard bulbs. For maximum enjoyment please use the same type of bulb when it needs replacing.
It takes moments to unpack the Lamp, install the bulb and enjoy it's natural beauty.

There are several good reasons for using energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs.
Australian household lighting accounts for around 12% of greenhouse gas emissions and the Australian
Government will phase out all inefficient light bulbs by 2009-10. In contrast to the incandescent lights we
grew up with, compact fluorescent bulbs do not heat up and are inexpensive to run. By using these bulbs
you will save money on your electricity bill and do your bit to counter global warming.

Art Lamps look great when you limit your choice of colours to 3. Try choosing 2 similar colours and a contrast colour OR leave it up to us.... the lamp above was a request for burgundy with green.

If you see an Art Lamp that you think will look good in your home contact us. Simply fill out the order form identifying which colours you are interested in and we will make it for you. Art Lamps cost Aus $330.00 plus post and handling. When you place an order we will let you know how long it will take to make your Lamp and the postage cost to your address. We will send our bank details so you can transfer the money from the comfort of your home. Your Lamp will be dispatched once full payment is received. Don't worry if you can't find exactly the right colour combination because we can make one to match your existing decor. You can choose colours that you like to surround yourself with. It takes a little longer to make a Lamp to your specifications and we may need colour samples or photographs of your room as we want to be sure you like what we've made. The colour matching service costs an additional $35.00. Having an Art Lamp made especially for you has other benefits. You can tell us which room it is for and the qualities you would like to attract into your life and we will direct these intentions into the fabric whilst we are creating it.
